Once the demolition plan (submitted with Safety Plan) has been approved, Contractor can begin demolition within the project limits. Take necessary
precautions to avoid damage to existing items to remain in place, to be reused, or to remain the property of CNP. Repair or replace damaged items as approved by the
Contracting Officer. Prevent the spread of dust and debris to occupied areas of the building. Sweep pavement areas such as apron and road as often as necessary to
control the spread of debris that may result in foreign object damage potential to aircraft or vehicles.
Existing NDI and Hydraulic Shops Contractor shall remove existing electrical conduits, cables and wires (power lines)
foreseeing that other offices and / or shops located within CNP Hangar 2 are not disconnected due to the fact that they are being fed by the same power lines. If so,
Contractor shall be responsible for supplying a new power connection to those offices/shops to avoid any outage during and/or after Project demolition and
construction. Contractor is warned that the magnetic particle inspection equipment has an independent feeder from CNP Hangar 2 main panelboard. So, Contractor
shall follow the relocation steps and recommendations provided in Electrical Drawings and Electrical Specs of this project.
Likewise, as shown in Architectural Drawings, some interior walls, one exterior wall (north facade), slabs on grade, doors, ceiling, metal structure, lighting and electrical
fixtures, piping, ventilation ducts shall be demolished.
